The well-heeled crowd of Mumbai has something stylish to look forward to as International fashion brand Sisley unveils its trendy Spring Summer collection 2010
Online PR News – 25-February-2010 – – Mumbai: Sisley launched its Spring Summer 2010 collection at South Mumbai's most up market shopping destination; and hostess Ekta Saran roped in stylist Asif Merchant and Sajeda Virji to put together the complete look. Sisley represents an unmistakable fashion presence in the clothing world, and a recognisable way of dressing. Part of this uniqueness is due to the creativity of the design team, a true workshop of imagination and innovation.
Asif invited models Pooja Chopra, Ishita Sarkar, Natassha Suri, Hanif Hilal and Sunny Kamble to showcase the SS10 collection. The men loved the denims; while the women were squealing over the bags.
Pooja Chopra took her time poring over the printed dresses; even as Natassha Suri epitomised summer style in classic yellow shorts. Ishita was happy with her summer pink bag and she spoke of it as the ultimate women's day gift. We surely hope someone listened to that. Hanif Hilal seemed visibly tired with continuous traveling on account of shows but made it for good friend Asif. Sunny kept everyone in good cheer through the evening.
Says Ekta Saran, brand manager Sisley and gracious hostess for the event,”Sisley designers are attentive to what is fashionable or will be fashionable tomorrow. They are receptive to the stimuli communicated by top world fashion designers and are sensitive to the phenomena that attract the younger generations. A very aspirational understated women’s wear collection showcases a range inspired from London, Copenhagen and Soho NY. For men, it’s the eclecticism of Detroit Rock City and the easy charm of South America in La Habana Panama. On the accessories; its eco-leather that makes a strong statement."
