Outdoor Concert Weekend in the Ponderosa Pines of AZ’s White Mountains, where Summer Temps Avg. 80 degrees

Online PR News – 27-May-2012 – Greer, AZ – What: One year after the Wallow Fire evacuated the adorable White Mountain village of Greer, the 2nd Annual Kick Ash Bash Weekend intends to let folks know: Greer is STILL HERE and STILL GREEN. The family-friendly music festival event will feature an entertaining line up of local and regional rock, country, jazz and blues acts on the outdoor “Stage in the Pines” located adjacent to The Historic Molly Butler Lodge on Main Street-- starting at 3 PM on Friday, July 27 and continuing all day Saturday, July 28. There will be comical Wild West Shoot Outs, carnival games for kids, and crafts, commemorative merchandise and t-shirts for sale.

Where: On the outdoor “Stage in the Pines” located adjacent to The Historic Molly Butler Lodge on Main Street. Parking available at Molly’s (109 Main St) and at the Copper Barrel Gifts & Antiques (60 Main St)—as well as along Main Street itself. Everything is within walking distance.

Cost: No entry fee for the music festival, but donations are appreciated (collected by the Greer Desperados during their Wild West performances). Proceeds from merchandise sales and “Molly’s Burgers & Brats BBQ” on Saturday go to support the Greer Wallow Fire Recovery Fund (more details below).

Fri, July 27
Awesome line up of local and regional rock, country, jazz and blues acts on the outdoor Stage in the Pines located adjacent to Molly’s on Main Street-- starting at 3 PM on Friday. Beer and refreshments truck.

Sat, July 28
A full day of entertainment and fun as great bands rock the outdoor Stage in the Pines from 11 AM to 10 PM. Beer and refreshments truck. Carnival games and prizes. Craft Fair. Wagon Rides. The Greer Desperados make appearances in comical Wild West Shoot-Outs at Noon and 4 PM.

Sun, July 29
Annual Kick Ash Bash Sunday Brunch & Lunch from 9 AM to 4 PM with mouthwatering Menu Specials and Live Music acts on the patio at Molly Butler Lodge.

Cabins & Lodging: For reservations please call Molly Butler Lodge & Cabins: 928-735-7226. There are three quaint lodge rooms available, but guests can also enjoy the privacy and charm of authentic woodland lodging in any of Molly’s 50+ private cabin rentals. From small rustic log cabins to million dollar luxury log home estates on acre+ lots, Molly’s cabins are located throughout Greer’s rolling hills and forests, ranging in size to sleep anywhere from two to 18 people.
