The MEV3000 series of ruggedized industrial power converters are designed for industrial and mil-cots Electric or Hybrid Electric Vehicles for operation in cars, trucks, utility vehicles and military vehicles. The MEV3000 converts the vehicle’s high voltage battery power to the conventional 12VDC or 28VDC vehicle power bus. The MEV3000 series of power converters are IP67 environmentally rated, have a liquid cooled base plate, robust enclosure, and mil-spec connectors. Nominal input voltage is 336VDC (250VDC – 425VDC) with efficiencies greater than 82% and provide the full 3000W output within the operational temperature range of -40C to +65C. The MEV3000 series power converters can be configured for any 1 of 4 possible output configurations at 3000W (+12VDC, +13.8VDC, 24VDC, or 28VDC). The outputs are line, load, and temperature regulated and have short circuit protection with automatic recovery after short circuit removal.
