129 Percent Growth In Visitor Traffic Since September, 2011 Shows Job Boards As A Viable Job Search Tool
Online PR News – 24-May-2012 – Raleigh, NC – Jason Pedley, CEO, founder, and chief jobs czar of ZuluJobs.com, announced today that the number of people seeking jobs in North Carolina through the company's online job board has more than doubled in the past seven months. The growth period represents that largest increase in visitors since the site began publishing NC jobs in 2009.
Since September 2011, ZuluJobs.com's traffic growth occurred as follows:
- Unique visitors increased by 129%
- Returning visitors increased by 84%
- First-time visitors increased by 130%
- Page loads increased by 125%
“This trend of growth shows us that while the unemployment rate is falling both nationally and within North Carolina, there are still many Americans - employed and unemployed - searching for jobs,” said Pedley. “With traffic growth like this, it’s no wonder that online job boards like those in our network are still a popular way to find jobs in the Tarheel State.”
ZuluJobs.com started as a job site that focused strictly on North Carolina jobs, but quickly grew to include every state in the union. Jobs are also published via Twitter and, to date, the NC job board has published jobs via 71,000 tweets.
