Reduce your Energy Bills by Installing Loft Insulation & Cavity Wall Insulation
02/24/2010

he recent adverts on the television and radio are pushing us to look at our loft insulation and cavity wall insulation; as a poorly insulated home can be losing over 50% of their heat through the loft and the walls. They are also telling us that by installing loft insulation and cavity wall insulation we can save 0.8 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. What they are not broadcasting at the top of their voice is the fact that we may all be entitled to a government grant to help with the cost of home insulation.

Online PR News – 24-February-2010 – – The recent cold weather conditions that have hit the UK, the rise in our energy bills and the media making us more than aware of the effect of our Carbon Footprint; we are all looking at ways to save money whilst helping the planet.

The recent adverts on the television and radio are pushing us to look at our Loft Insulation and Cavity Wall Insulation; as a poorly insulated home can be losing over 50% of their heat through the loft and the walls. They are also telling us that by installing loft insulation and cavity wall insulation we can save 0.8 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. What they are not broadcasting at the top of their voice is the fact that we may all be entitled to a government grant to help with the cost of home insulation.

Very keen to find out more about saving money, I did some research on the Internet and found a company called Viscount Environmental Ltd who has been reported to be one of the UK's leading installers of cavity wall insulation, loft insulation and draught proofing. They were broadcasting the fact that they have joined forces with the Government and utilities to decrease energy bills and householders carbon footprint.

Ruth Business Development Director of Viscount Environmental Ltd quoted "We want to make everyone aware that they are eligible for a Government grant for Cavity Wall Insulation and Loft Insulation, there is around 50% and above available to home owners and private tenants whatever their income” Ruth went on to say "Since the cold weather front has hit our enquiries for Cavity Wall Insulation and Loft Insulation have gone up by 150% because people want to save money on their energy bills"

What I also found interesting whilst talking to Ruth was the companies’ passion to reduce CO2 emissions. Ruth told me "At Viscount we aim to become a major component in the UK's reduction of CO2 emissions, each year our work saves 100,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide and we are looking at different marketing angles so that we can increase this" Ruth then moved on to tell me how Viscount have joined with Government 'warm front' scheme to advise people like me on the best way to reduce their heating bills, get warmer homes and save the damage to the climate.
