Tycon Power Systems Announces The Release Of Its New 20W Off-Grid RemotePro™ Remote Power System
Online PR News – 21-May-2012 – Bluffdale, UT – “The new 20W RemotePro™ system fills a gap in our product line for those customers that require up to 20W continuous power in a 12V or 24V system at a reasonable price point.” said Scott Parsons, CEO. “Previously customer needing over 15W or 15W in a 24V system would need to step up to our 30W RemotePro system. Many customers found this to be too expensive. The 20W system addresses a sweet spot market need."
The RPST12xx-100-85 12V system comes with a selection of POE outputs from 12V to 48V passive POE. The 24V RPST2424-50-85 comes with a 24V passive POE output.
The solar controllers used in the RPST systems provide 30W output from the POE output port and 1.5A out of the wire terminal output port. The controllers provide load control to make sure the batteries aren’t over discharged. They also accept a 2.5A POE input on the POE input port to charge the batteries if AC power is available.
The systems come complete with all hardware and wiring required for a pole or wall mount installation. The gasketed weatherproof enclosure is power coated plated steel and includes security closures.
Systems are also available without batteries to help reduce international shipping costs.
RemotePro™ systems carry a 2 year warranty.
They are normally in stock in Salt Lake City, Utah or at one of Tycon Power Systems worldwide distributors.
* MSRP is $1199.95
