The EPP will initially focus on 3 key categories within consumer electronics - Portable CE, Computers, and Televisions. Through the assistance of national service partners the general public will have access to drop-off locations throughout the United States to rid themselves of unwanted CE products. New criteria for CPS service partners will be implemented in the 3rd quarter of 2010 to support the EPP. The overall goal of the program is to conserve natural resources in an effort to help save our environment. Products will be disposed or recycled in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency.
