The tray has the ability to read and write from and to tagged documents for registration, recording and tracking by a document tracking system. It acts as an antenna for a stand-alone RFID reader. This advanced RFID reader/writer tray offers easy maintenance since it has no user serviceable parts and manual calibration is not necessary. It reads and writes on two channels at a maximum speed of 150 tags per second.
This document tracking RFID reader/writer tray, model 233010, conforms to the ISO/ICE 18000-3 Mode 2 standard and is certified for both North America and Europe. It operates reliably with up to 60 documents regardless of the tag positions; the document tags can be stacked, overlapping or even touching. The tray supports a command data rate of 424kbits/s and a reply data rate of 106kbits/s. An optional rack allows for convenient "In and Out Trays" for tracking.
