Go Green or Don’t Go Home

The World is going green and so is Architectural Designer Erik Kampmann, owner of EMK Designs. With over 20 years’ experience, some award winning designs under his belt and now operating his own design studio, Erik will be showcasing his new Container House design at the Seacoast Green Home & Living Show at the end of this month (February 26-27) in Portsmouth, NH.

Online PR News – 19-February-2010 – – With sustainability in mind, this unique design is built using shipping containers and features approximately 2,400 square feet of living space, 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, Great Room, Dining Room, Home Office, Laundry and spacious Kitchen. Two of the bedrooms have their own private, covered balcony!

“Everything and everyone is going green; building a home with Energy Star appliances just doesn’t cut it anymore. It starts with the idea and design using unconventional materials, and that’s where my Container House comes in,” says Erik, “It’s important to me to show just how creatively green a house can be.”

Erik is excited to show off his latest design, among others, at the show. If you’re in the area, stop by the Frank Jones Center, Booth #114 in the Ballroom, there are a few free tickets available through the firm!
