Crystal Cruises has announced that they are to expand their Jewish Heritage tours in Europe by 30 per cent, this year.
Online PR News – 21-April-2012 – Chorley, Lancashire – Crystal Cruises has announced that they are to expand their Jewish Heritage tours in Europe by 30 per cent, this year.
The announcement comes as their Jewish Heritage tours have soared in popularity and completely sold out.
A spokesman for Crystal said: “With our Crystal Adventure program we create exclusive packages to our customers with eye-opening shore excursions that you won’t find anywhere else, so it does not surprise me that our Heritage tours were an instant hit.”
Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony will be giving guests the chance to sail and experience the culture and history of the Jewish communities around Europe.
Visiting a host of neighbourhoods, synagogues, monuments and museums, Crystal’s guest can take advantage of plenty of fascinating shore excursions around Berlin, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Dublin, Hamburg, Rome, St. Petersburg and Israel.
Vice President, Land and Port Operations John Stoll said: “Due to their enormous popularity, we're continuing to develop niche excursions that connect travellers to their special interests. Our Jewish guests welcome the opportunity to experience their heritage around the world.”
“However, even non-practitioners of the faith relish gaining first-hand insight into different cultures, and Jewish culture is particularly fascinating for its long and storied impact upon so many areas of the world."
Some of the highlights include; an ancient Jewish burial ground in Haifa; El Call – Europe’s best preserved Jewish Quarters in Girona; A Museum and host of synagogues in Stockholm; Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp in Berlin; and Jerusalem’s Western Wall, Old City and Holocaust artefact memorial in Ashdod.
35 all-inclusive cruises have been added where you can choose to sail from 7-14 nights for a limited time only and Jewish services and Kosher options are also available on board selected Crystal Cruises sailings.
