The ICT EXPO, which is short for International Information Techno lodge, is organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and aimed to showcase the latest electronics products, along with cutting-edge information and communication technology products, offering participants a great variety of sourcing opportunities across the two sectors. It is the largest electronic spring show in Asia. The fairs has attracted 145 buying missions from 59 countries and regions, representing over 5,700 companies and more than 9,000 buyers. The exhibition is divided into several sectors like computer soft wares, telecommunications and online payment services. It also unveils a new Small-Order Zone, offering exhibitors and buyers a unique opportunity to sample thousands of products in a series of showcases at the Expo Drive Entrance. The data shows that in 2011, Hong Kong exported HK$1.85 trillion (US$237 billion) worth of electronics products, up nine per cent over 2010.
