MedTech College Assists in the Haiti Relief Effort

Last week the students and staff of MedTech College set a goal for themselves to raise funds for the Haiti relief effort. By the end of the week, MedTech College had raised close to $6,000.

Online PR News – 19-February-2010 – – Last week the students and staff of MedTech College set a goal for themselves to raise funds for the Haiti relief effort. By the end of the week, MedTech College had raised close to $6,000. With additional monies added by the MTC Corporate office, MedTech College was able to issue a check for $10,000 to the American Red Cross.

When asked why the effort was so successful, Cindy Dutton, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Recruitment, stated “As always the faculty, staff and students of MedTech College are motivated by helping others in need. The tragedy in Haiti has created an altruistic focus like none other that I ever seen at the college.”

A representative, Vanessa Izokaitis, of MedTech College presented the check of $10,000 to John Lyter, CEO of the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis, at the American Red Cross Headquarters on Thursday, February 11, 2010.
