Entensys Takes Part in the Development of World Standards for Child Protection

Entensys would like to report on its participation in the recent session of Study Group 17 (SG-17) of Telecommunication Standardization Sector, International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

Online PR News – 14-April-2012 – Leipzig, Germany – ITU is the UN specialized agency comprising 192 member countries. The session was held in Geneva, 20 February – 2 March 2012. Entensys played an active role in the development of standardization proposals for Child Online Protection, and writing of draft proposals for future Study Group activities. Particular emphasis was placed on the problem of having no established standards for Internet providers. The delegates admitted the urgency of this issue and decided to create a special Coordination Group. Entensys will remain a willing participant of ITU activities and will support the initiatives of the Ministry of Communication and Informatization of the Russian Federation.
