Leading Private-Duty, Home Health Care Agency Recognized for Revenue Growth, Job Creation, Employee Commitment and Community Involvement
Online PR News – 11-April-2012 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Advocate Home Care Services of South Florida, one of the region’s leading private-duty, home health care agencies, today announced it has been named a finalist in South Florida Business Journals 2012 Business of the Year Awards. The Award recognizes the accomplishments of various business and industries in the South Florida marketplace. Awards are based on revenue growth, job creation, employee commitment and community involvement.
“We are honored to be among a select group of companies that have been named finalists for this prestigious award,” said Advocate founder and CEO, David Maymon. “This landmark achievement is entirely attributed to the passion and dedication of the Advocate team. From day one, I wanted to build an enduring company where people are motivated to revolutionize how home health care is provided. Everything has revolved around one mission, one focus; taking care of the patient as if you were taking care of one of their own parents. Everything else is secondary.”
In addition to significant financial growth, Advocate has increased its staff from 2 to 24, and contracts with over 400 nurses’ aides.
The winners in the various categories will be announced at a dinner April 26th at the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA), Dania Beach. Legendary South Florida-businessman, H. Wayne Huizenga, will be honored that evening with a lifetime achievement award.
