Cheri Baker Will Speak At the Society of Design Administration’s Educational Conference

Online PR News – 07-April-2012 – Seattle, WA – On Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012, Cheri Baker of Emergence Consulting will be speaking at the 42nd annual Society of Design Administration’s Educational Conference in Portland, Oregon. The EDSymposium 12 is being held at the Embassy Suites in the Historic Multnomah Hotel, in Portland, Oregon. The topic of her session, "Creative Thinking for Non-Dreamers," will teach analytical types to be more creative in the workplace. Cheri will use her expertise to address outside-the-box thinking strategies and ideas. For those born without abstract thought-ability, Cheri will break them out of their rule-based thinking processes and help analytical types incorporate innovative, creative, thinking. Creative thinking is a must in today’s tough job market and Cheri will work with program participants to implement that skill.

EDSymposium conference-go’ers attending Cheri’s session will learn about creativity and how to use it effectively in the workplace to get ahead. Cheri will provide several mind-bending exercises that can help attendees go beyond the spectrum of conventional thinking. Examples of how other organizations are employing creativity to differentiate their businesses will be explored. These tools that Cheri will provide do not have to remain in a state of limbo, because they are tangible and can be used for future needs.
