Forty Thousand Eggs Will Be Hidden During Georgia's Largest Easter Egg Hunt

Georgia's Biggest Easter Egg Hunt gets underway April 7, 2012 in Roswell, Georgia.
The event kicks off at 12pm at World Harvest Church. The two hour event will also feature train rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, face painting and a food court.

Online PR News – 06-April-2012 – Roswell, Georgia – Roswell, Georgia - April 2,2012 - Hundreds are expected at World Harvest Church’s massive Easter Egg Hunt Saturday April 7th.

The event kicks off at 12 with the official hunt starting at 1pm.

According to the church’s Pastor Mirek Hufton, “more is fun and bigger is better”. Now in its eleventh year, the event has expanded to include a petting zoo, train rides, inflatables, hay rides and a food court.

This year will also feature a special “golden egg” for one child fortunate enough to find it. Pastor Hufton said “the event is a mammoth undertaking with one-hundred volunteers, over forty-thousand pieces of candy and stickers and requires nearly three-thousand feet of storage space.” Many of the members take part in the labor of love by volunteering to stuff and assemble as many as 300 eggs per box.

Georgia’s largest Easter egg hunt will be held on the grounds of World Harvest Church - 320 Hardscrabble Road - Roswell Georgia. The event is free and open to the public.
