Online PR News – 31-March-2012 – Milwaukee, WI – Wisconsin Firearms Training LLC, announces the launch of three new live fire classes, responding to the increasing demand for live fire training in Southeastern Wisconsin. Additionally, Wisconsin Firearms Training is the exclusive training company operating in conjunction with McMiller Sports Center, S103W38754 County Road NN Eagle, WI 53119.
“With close to 100,000 Concealed Carry Licenses currently issued by the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the demand for live fire training in Wisconsin is increasing”, says Jason Roetz, co-owner of Wisconsin Firearms Training. Jake Trussoni, Head Instructor and co-owner of Wisconsin Firearms Training states that "Carrying a concealed weapon is a great responsibility, and it is incumbent on the individual to acquire and maintain the skills necessary to safely carry and use their weapon".
The new live fire classes dovetail nicely with our current DOJ CCW Certification Classes, as the individual can transition from classroom safety training, to basic pistol live fire instruction, all the way to advanced pistol techniques.
The Wisconsin Firearms Training Basic Pistol class will give novice & new handgun shooters the comfort and skills they need to have basic pistol handling and marksmanship skills. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: Nomenclature, loading/unloading, cleaning and maintenance, fundamentals of marksmanship, drawing & firing from an exposed holster, introduction to shooting for self-defense, and deadly force decision making.
The Wisconsin Firearms Training Basic Concealed Carry class is geared towards shooters who have a good base of pistol handling and marksmanship. In this class we will cover drawing from your preferred concealed carry method, drawing and firing while moving to cover, tactical reloads, dealing with malfunctions, quickly and accurately firing second and subsequent rounds to stop the threat, shooting from different positions, follow through considerations after the shooting has stopped, and deadly force decision making.
The Wisconsin Firearms Training Combat Pistol Shooting for Self Defense class will build and expand upon the skills from our Basic Concealed Carry Live Fire class. In addition to skills from the Basic Concealed Class the additional skills covered will include, but are not limited to: shooting while moving (forward, back, & lateral), multiple threat engagement, shooting from cover, off hand (non shooting hand) firing, unsupported strong (shooting hand) firing and deadly force decision making.
Additional private classes for one on one training or couples training are also available.
