The CarnotJetâ„˘ system, developed by GRC, is a complete, energy-efficient fluid submersion cooling system for OEM servers. Utilizing high-performance GreenDEFâ„˘ dielectric coolant, the CarnotJetâ„˘ system provides the most efficient cooling and lowest cost per watt in the industry, reducing total solution energy consumption by 95%. With 1,200 times more heat retention than air, GreenDEFâ„˘ can very effectively cool servers at 40Â°C (104Â°F) and virtually eliminate air conditioning costs which typically require ambient temperature at 24Â°C (75Â°F). Additional energy savings are also possible with repurposing of heat captured in the CarnotJetâ„˘ submersion rack system.
HPC server solutions optimized for geophysical applications in the CGGVeritas deployment are provided by Super Micro Computer, Inc.
