The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib is again set to organize a two-day free medical camp at Akal Charitable Hospital, Baru Sahib on 6th and 7th April 2012 for the benefit of rural poor of the Himalayan region around Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh.

Online PR News – 02-April-2012 – Himachal Pradesh – Working for the welfare and humanity by running various projects, The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib is again set to organize a two-day free medical camp at Akal Charitable Hospital, Baru Sahib on 6th and 7th April 2012 for the benefit of rural poor of the Himalayan region around Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Well known doctors from Jalandhar are participating in this camp.

The KalgidharTrust organizes medical camps four times a year, where in specialists from USA and several states of India volunteer their services. Approximately 2000 patients attend each of these camps, where more than 100 operations are carried out absolutely free of cost. Surgeries like Hernia, hysterectomy, Myringoplasty, Cleft lip and cleft palate, skin grafting, contractures following burns, all kinds of general surgeries and orthopaedic surgeries are done free of cost in these camps.

This free medical camp will be beneficial for the rural poor in far-flung hilly areas, those needy and underprivileged sections of society who cannot afford the treatment in good hospitals.
