Infosec Technologies focuses on customer support with launch of online helpdesk portal

Infosec-Support to provide customers with multi-channel technical support, self-service tools and access to interactive forums and technical resource knowledge base.

Online PR News – 29-March-2012 – 28 March 2012 Basingstoke – Infosec Technologies, one of the UK’s leading implementers of information security solutions and services, is launching Infosec-Support, a new web-based technical helpdesk service.

With the growing adoption of cloud-based security services (SaaS) resellers will need to focus more on their value-add, specifically business and technical consultancy and full service support. To meet this need, IT Security and Networking Reseller, Infosec Technologies has invested in an interactive online customer support portal.

Customers will access the portal via a link on the company’s website or by using a dedicated email address. The portal can be used to raise a ticket, check the ticket status and access the technical knowledge base to find answers to common questions. Users can also join one of the discussion forums to receive and share information, view the latest product and service news items and check out the ‘tips and tricks’ section. In addition, Infosec Technologies will use the portal to gather product and service feature requests.

Using the built-in intelligent workflow, Infosec-Support automatically converts customer emails and portal requests into support tickets which are routed to the technical support team. Although similar to many other help desk applications, Infosec-Support provides users with additional support and resources such as self-service tools and access to discussion forums.
