Accolade Corporate Events unveil new corporate social responsibility event.
Online PR News – 10-February-2010 – – Accolade corporate events have introduced a new team building event that focuses on strengthening key team skills whilst also benefitting the local community. The event challenges participants to create a famous landmark out of tins of food together. After the event, the tins of food are given to members of the local community in need.
The company’s Creative Director Mandy Applegate commented: “This event aims to put the ‘building’ quite literally back into team building. The only way to achieve an impressive structure is by working together…it’s a great way to work on team skills - and it’s a lot of fun too!”
Part of the Team Work & Green Team Activities products, the event has been designed to give a company’s corporate social responsibility a boost while helping participants work on their creative skills. The teams will firstly have to decide how to construct the structure they are going to create – the objective is to build a famous landmark, historical building or iconic object. Once the structure has been built, it will be carefully dismantled and the food tins will be given to charity.
The event has been designed to cater for the growing desire within companies to improve their reputation for good corporate social responsibility.
