FurnitureFit.net promises to make shopping for and selling furniture a bit easier with a new online search site.
Online PR News – 09-February-2010 – – Kansas City based www.FurnitureFit.net does not sell furniture, but hopes to help others do just that. The site, launched in late January, is designed to be a network of individuals, designers, consignment shops and new retailers and make searching and selling furniture easy and clickable.
According to Beth Beksel, the sites creator, “the site came about by wanting a better way to search for furniture. I had an awkward space in my kitchen and a really tough time finding something that was the right size. So, I decided I would have to create a search solution.”
FurnitureFit.net is dedicated solely to home furnishings and provides search criteria to give visitors the results that best match users needs. Search filters include room, style, color and material, size, price and seller. Searchers are able to contact the used furniture sellers through the site’s secure online messaging system and are provided local store information with each posting.
Selling with FurnitureFit.net has enhanced features as well. Sellers receive a custom url to display all of their postings, can see how many times their items have been viewed, easily edit and delete their postings and automatically send a twitter message any time a new posting is added.
FurnitureFit.net’s goal is to make finding the right piece of furniture simple and if there needs to be room made for that piece, make selling a breeze too.
