With this drive to spotlight new talent, Arthenius Jackson is the first up-and-coming musical artist to join the nonprofit organization‚Äôs roster of established Angel Artists. The South Carolinian singer-songwriter joins a select group of talented performers who give of their music on the Michelle‚Äôs Angels‚Äô website. Michelle‚Äôs Angels Foundation‚Äôs mission is to provide love, hope and assistance to people facing any one of life‚Äôs illnesses or challenges. Born and raised in Hartsville, South Carolina, Arthenius took the microphone at the age of six to lead her first song with the youth choir at her church. Motivated, encouraged and inspired by many mentors, she uses her musical gifts and passion to lift up the spirits of others. After graduating from Hartsville High School, Arthenius first attended Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina to study music. She continued her studies at Francis Marion University (FMU) where she received her B.A in Mass Communication. In addition to her communication studies, Arthenius directed the Young Gifted and Blessed Choir for three years. After graduating from FMU, she attended the Actors, Models, Talent for Christ (AMTC) Convention held in Orlando, Florida. Arthenius‚Äô song titled ‚ÄúForgiven‚ÄĚ is featured on the MAF website. She recently completed two new songs and plans on releasing her first album in April.
