First of its kind in South Florida, the technology-driven EBP Cycling Lab is opening its doors this week in Coral Gables.
Online PR News – 05-February-2012 – – State of the art EBP Cycling Lab has outgrown their original space and will be opening a new, larger space in Coral Gables this coming Friday, February 3, 2012. The new facility is a one-of-a-kind retail bike shop and technology driven cycling lab. To add to the already exciting unveiling of the new shop the list of special guests is steadily growing.
As part of the Grand Opening ceremonies, EBP Cycling Lab will be hosting Team BMC celebrity triathlete, Jenny Fletcher. Fletcher, who lives in Los Angeles, will be in Miami specifically for the opening of the EBP Cycling Lab. She will hold a “meet and greet” session on Friday and will also join the regular Miami group ride (leaving from EBP) on Saturday.
EBP will also be hosting one of Miami’s own. Pro-cyclist Yosvany Falcon of Team Wonderful Pistachio will also attend as an honored guest. Falcon, who races worldwide, is the only pro cyclist to call Miami his home. He will also be on hand for both the party and group ride.
In addition to the growing roster of celebrity athletes, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new EBP Cycling Lab. Coral Gables City Commissioner Ralph Cabrera will officially open the new facility and present EBP with a city seal.
EBP Cycling Lab is changing the look and feel of the traditional bike shop. Carlos De Leon of EBP Cycling Lab had this to say, “This is what bike shops of the future will look like. We’re taking the leap and setting the precedent in Miami.” With this opening event, EBP Cycling Lab is bringing the very latest in cycling technology to South Florida.

Model and professional triathlete Jenny Fletcher spent a childhood modeling and in-between shoots, training. Jenny continued to do both triathlons and modeling over the years reaching amateur elite status. She moved from her Canadian home to California and had a tough choice between pursuing modeling or triathlon as a career. About Yosvany Falcon
Yosvany Falcon was part of the Cuban National Cycling team for 8 years. During a trip to Venezuela for the Vuelta Tachira he defected his country and team. Heading to the United States in January 2004, he has since raced professionally for teams such as AEG, Toshiba, and RealCyclist.com. He is an all-around rider, with strengths in both road races and criterium races. A few of his career highlights include 1st place in the 2010 Manhattan Beach Grand Prix, placing in the top 10 twice at the Philly International race,and taking 1st place in the last stage of Grio la Region.
