Online PR News – 03-February-2012 – – Winning the hearts of emerging fashion website TellusFashion this week for the accolade of Designer of the Week is Danny Tang.
The Malaysian-born, London College of Fashion and Instituto Malrangoni-trained womenswear designer impressed TellusFashion with his collection incorporating high fashion and high drama. Edgy style icon Grace Jones and Anna Friel are also fans of the accessories initially created by Tang when he founded his label in 2009.
Following this success he went on to design the ready-to-wear label as it exists today which has been going for four seasons. The debut collection launched at Vauxhall Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week to a host of impressed buyers, press and Malaysian dignitaries.
Each week, http://www.tellusfashion.com selects a fashion designer from their online boutique who reflects current trends and a unique design aesthetic as their Designer of the Week.
Danny Tang's accessories range of shrugs, belts, collars and neck pieces are still very much a part of his work and many of his designs need little accessorising at all as they come ready embellished. His autumn/winter 11 collection titled Urban Victorian used ruffle collars, black lace and scarlet red touches for a smoulderingly gothic range of dresses, coats, evening gowns and capes. In contrast, the new season range utilises brilliant white and aqua blues, however, his signature dramatic look is not compromised as layers, ruffles, corsets and corsages make a statement, perfect for holiday evening wear.
Both collections are available on http://www.tellusfashion.com
