Online PR News – 24-January-2012 – – After the CAT 2011 result, the IIMs started declaring the short list of candidates for the next round of selection process. While the IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Kozhikode and the new IIMs had already declared the list, IIM Indore and Shillong have recently declared it.

The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of CAT scores, past academic records and Professional Diversity. The overall cut off percentile of CAT 2011 is 90 and sectional cut off is 85.
WAT and PI will be held in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
The final selection will take place on the basis of CAT score and performance in WAT & PI. The weightages given to these factors would be 50 per cent in CAT, 15 per cent in WAT and 35 per cent in PI.

The shortlist of IIM Shillong is done on the basis of CAT scores and past academic records. The overall cut off for CAT 2011 is 94.5 percentile. Sectional percentile is 65 percentile.
