– Ostend Welcomes Alcoholics to 23rd North Sea Festival in February 2012

The Belgian port town of Ostend is this coming February set to play host to one of the most important events in the European Alcoholics Anonymous calendar - the North Sea Festival.

Online PR News – 12-January-2012 – – This will be the 23rd time that the North Sea Festival has taken place and the Belgian destination of Ostend is the perfect choice to host this year's event. Ostend is one of the largest ports in all of Europe and sees thousands of boats and ferries pass through its waters every year.

Alcoholics Anonymous has been helping sufferers of alcoholism for decades and its events are known and trusted around the world as centers of excellence in assisting people through recovery.

The 23rd North Sea Festival will be hosted in Ostend between February 3rd and 5th 2012, and includes dinners, relationship-building events and all sorts of workshops. Expert speakers will be in place to dispense wisdom and news to attendees, and delegates can take a USB memory stick with them to download presentations and take them home with them.

The event will be held in the Ravelingen Vacation Centre in downtown Ostend, prompting online hotel room booking website to advise travellers to book Ostend hotels well before arriving.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head of, comments, “Ostend is a typically busy destination for tourists and businesspeople, and its harbour means that hotels are always in heavy demand from ferry passengers and sailors. With that in mind people should think ahead and book their places to stay before arriving to be sure of availability and choice."
