The famous city of Port Elizabeth in South Africa is this coming February set to welcome fans of spicy foods to town as The Chilli Festival takes place.

The Chilli Festival will be held on February 26th and 27th 2012, and it will take place at the Parsons Hill Primary School. Attendees can come along and try out all sorts of different chilli variations from 10am until 5pm each day. Admission prices are just 10 Rand for grown-ups and 5 Rand for children.
The Port Elizabeth Chilli Festival was founded by Heidemarie Vos, an ex-Playboy Bunny with a love of hot food. In addition to trying out recipes and dishes attendees can purchase chilli sees and plants themselves to grow their own at home. The festival finishes up each evening with a drink and a dance too.
