Online PR News – 17-December-2011 – – WEST PALM BEACH, Florida, Dec. 15, 2011 - In a stunning move, MMA sports management company KO Dynasty has signed its first boxer, Daniel “El Alacran” Lozano. Lozano’s presence will spearhead the MMA company’s segue into the boxing arena.

KO Dynasty CEO Mickey Dubberly believes Lozano will effectively jumpstart the company’s new boxing division. KO Dynasty currently represents some of the top names in mixed martial arts.

Since 2008 KO Dynasty has grown into a legendary MMA sports management company, consistently providing high-profile fighters to the UFC. Recently, KO Dynasty fighter Jonathan Brookins defeated Michael Johnson to win the Ultimate Fighter (season 12) and earn a contract with the UFC.

“I was flattered when I was approached by Daniel’s people to represent him,” said Dubberly. “I explained that we are an MMA company but they weren’t dissuaded. They insisted Daniel fight under the KO Dynasty flag.”

As a Flyweight, the 22-year-old Daniel is ranked #2 in the U.S. and #36 in the world. Daniel has competed in more than 100 bouts as an amateur. He has received a Silver Medal in the U.S. National Championships, a Silver Medal in the National Golden Gloves tournament, a Gold Medal in the Florida Golden Gloves, and also scored a win over Roberto Ceron in the 2008 United States Olympic Trials.

“We believe Daniel can take the title” Dubberly said. “MMA and boxing are close cousins. Our new boxing division is going to prove to fight fans that the two sports are not mutually exclusive. A good fight is a good fight and that’s what we do; provide the most exciting fighters in the industry to the UFC and other high-profile venues.”
