Online PR News – 14-December-2011 – – Former member Parliament and renowned editor of a popular new paper Chowthi Dunya Santosh Bhartiya narrated the path from print to electronic media in a workshop conducted during the fourth Global Film Festival, Noida 2011.
Inaugurating the workshop, festival President Sandeep Marwah emphasized the need of writing skills for all those who want to maintain high standards in the field of media either the print or the electronic. “Equal emphasis and right balance is maintained between print and electronic media at Asian School of Media Studies while providing education” Marwah added.
Bhartiya who himself has undertaken this journey shared his experiences and fielded questions from a jam packed studio in the workshop. It was an interactive drill and the festival delegates cleared many myths and notions.
Bhartiya was of the opinion that print is the mother of all media and shifting to electronic was a natural process and an institution like Marwah Studios was ideally suited for this education.
