Cristina Morrison thanks Jazz at Lincoln Center

Cristina’s debut original solo jazz album “I LOVE”, with support from BMI, has been selected to be given out as a gift at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s
“Young Patrons” concert event on December 10th in New York City.

Online PR News – 10-December-2011 – – The great Monty Alexander will be the guest performer at this event where he will be playing a tribute concert celebrating the music of Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra in JLC’s , The Allen Room.

I LOVE is an album that showcases lyrics and vocals by Morrison and the musical arrangements by saxophone player and composer, Christian Hidrobo. The two traveled between Quito, Galapagos Islands and New York City during the nine-month writing/creative process and then recorded at Bennett Studios in Englewood, NJ this last spring with Grammy winner engineer, Alessandro Perrotta.

Six original tracks, three beloved standards and a video of the “Making of I LOVE” make up this album in which craft and elegance can be felt and listened to through the musicianship of Gregoire Maret, Steve Einerson, Alex Alvear, Sammy Torres, Walter Szymanski, Marcus McLaurine, Vinny Valentino, Willard Dyson and Alex Harding.

Thanks again to Jazz at Lincoln Center for making I LOVE reach music lovers and new audiences.
