David Miller, MD, and Martin Walsh, MD, Join Greater Cincinnati’s Largest Group of Urologists
Online PR News – 09-December-2011 – – CINCINNATI (Dec. 6, 2011) — David C. Miller, MD, and Martin John Walsh II, MD, will join The Urology Group effective Jan. 1, 2012, in an expansion that brings the services of the Tri-state’s largest urological practice to the Middletown area.
The Urology Group is the area’s leading urological practice with 34 urologists serving Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Southeastern Indiana and now Middletown. In joining the group, Miller and Walsh, of Summit Urology Inc., will maintain all aspects of their Middletown practice.
Miller and Walsh will continue performing outpatient surgery at the Southwest Ohio Ambulatory Surgery Center (SWOASC) in Middletown. However, through this association patients will gain access to an even wider network of healthcare professionals and services, including a $20 million advanced care surgery facility scheduled to open in Cincinnati in late summer 2012. The center will offer integrated care and services under a single roof, including treatment for prostate cancer, clinical research and an on-site pathology lab.

Miller, Chief of Surgery at Atrium Medical Center, has been in private practice in Middletown since 1991. He provides all aspects of general, adult and pediatric urology care. Miller earned his medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Medical College of Ohio, Toledo.

Walsh is Vice President of Summit Urology and former head of Surgical Specialties, including urology, at Atrium Medical Center. He earned his medical degree at Medical College of Ohio and completed his internship and residency at Indiana University School of Medicine.
