Katies Crads announce the launch of their new e-card blog.
Online PR News – 21-January-2010 – – UK based e-card creation company Katie’s Cards has announced it is launching a new blog section on its website. The new blog will be written in order to inform people about how e-cards are created and how they work, as well as publicising the various new e-cards that come out of the Katie’s Cards studio.
Katie Davies employs a variety of techniques to produce her e cards, from traditional paints and pencils to the very latest animation software to produce e-cards for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, Christmas greetings and a wide range of other important occasions. The service works on a subscription basis, whereby paid up members can access any of the e-cards contained on the site for twelve months– and add their personalised message to be displayed at the end.
Nick, co-founder of Katie’s Cards commented: “New technology has enabled us to create some really fun and exciting e-cards, but we think what sets us apart from other companies is the creative element behind the software. Without good, visual ideas and traditional art and design skills, the software is not really much use. I think our success comes from the fact we have some really talented people working in our team – we have some great ideas for e-cards.”
The new blog is set to go live over the next week or so and will be updated regularly with news and views from the world of e-cards, as well as providing an insight into how the backgrounds, animation and music are brought together. The company was founded by husband and wife team Katie and Nick, and enlists the help of background artist Barry Sexton and musician Ben Davis in order to bring the e-cards to life.
