10/11/2011 announces that Ireland’s biggest festival dedicated to the finest Irish arts will be coming to Killarney at the beginning of November.

Online PR News – 11-October-2011 – – Oireachtas na Gaeilge is an arts festival focused exclusively on Irish culture and each year it sets up in a different city. 2011 is the turn of Killarney to stage the proceedings which will involve a mixture of live performances, competitions and demonstrations.

Ireland is famous worldwide for its unique culture and audiences will be able to see the greatest talents singing songs and shaking the stage with lively dances. The festival has such as a mixed programme that there’s a show for almost every taste. Visitors can listen to poetry recitals, folk songs and classic stories being told and towards the end of the week will be the four main competitions.

The competitions will consist of three sean-nós singing events, for women and men as well as the Corn Ui Riada, which is the premier event of the three and is open to all genders and ages. The fourth competition is the Comortas Damhsa where judges will be deciding the best freestyle dancers.
