DirectRooms.com reveals that as many as a hundred ghosts are thought to come out from the shadows for Halloween on Ness Islands this year.
Online PR News – 11-October-2011 – – Halloween on Ness Islands will see crowds of people dressing up as their favourite ghosts, ghouls and scary characters to come and watch local artists from Eden Court Theatre putting on murderous plays that will include plenty of gore. The whole area is set to be transformed into a creepy hallow with amazing set designs and outdoor theatre.
Although scary the plays are also designed to be suitable for families as they’ll be a less frightening production at 18:30 to allow children to get dressed up and join in with the fun. The event takes place on 29th and 30th October 2011 and then there’s a later show on each day which will run from 20:30. However in both cases bookings are essential as each year is continually sold out.
In 2010 the theme was “Malice in Wonderland” and this year’s theme is still a secret although it will be revealed closer to the time. As the performance theatre is sure to send a chill through the spine, there’s also going to be plenty of stalls selling hot food and drinks as well as various games and activities.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: “The popularity of the event makes getting a hotel Inverness City Centre much more difficult over this time. If people need accommodation they’ll definitely have to book early.”
