Health Product Developers Explain the Basics of a Full-Body Cleanse

Makers of a revolutionary new product, offering a full-body cleanse at the cellular level, say that everyone should know the basics.

Online PR News – 10-October-2011 – New York, New York – “When you do a Google search for ‘full-body cleanse,’ the search engine will bring up more than two million websites offering information on how to experience a full body cleanse,” says Tim Andrus, President and CEO of Revitalife, makers of PUR-Z, a 2nd generation product developed by biochemists researching the use of clinoptilolite zeolite for human consumption. “Cleansing and detoxifying for health purposes may not have always been a mainstream topic, but there is no denying that it is now.”

If you're not quite sure what to make of cleansing and detoxification, Andrus says that there are a few core issues that you need to understand.

The Definition of Detoxification

Detoxification simply refers to the process of eliminating toxins from your body.

According to Andrus, there are two major types of toxins that accumulate in our bodies over time.

“Environmental toxins include all the chemicals and pollutants that we are exposed to through air, water and food, and may include pesticides, herbicides, prescription and over-the-counter medications and carbon monoxide,” says Andrus. “Metabolic toxins are produced by our cells as they go about their metabolic processes. They can also be produced by microorganisms that act on undigested food in your digestive tract.”

While Andrus says that it's normal for our cells to contain some toxins at all times, they can present a challenge to your health when they accumulate to a point where they interfere with cellular function.

Constant Detoxification and Cleansing

“Our bodies are designed to constantly gather up and remove toxins from the cells,” says Andrus. “Most of those toxins are broken down in the liver and eliminated through the kidneys, colon, skin, lungs, and mucus linings in the nose and ears.”

In short, Andrus says that every time we urinate, defecate, exhale, cough and sneeze, our bodies eliminate toxins from our system.

“When our exposure to toxins rises, our bodies increase output, but when the body can’t keep up, it attempts to store some of the toxins in our fat tissues,” he explains. “Even if you are lean, your body can store toxins in fat tissues interspersed between your muscle fibers and surrounding your organs.”

The bottom line is that you can accumulate enough toxins to experience cellular dysfunction.

This is why, Andrus says, a full body cleanse, at the cellular level, is so important for health.
