In addition to the mainstream radio play, this Urban/Top 40 style smash received over 1 million MySpace plays. In 2010 Menice teamed with Bronx Bridge/Fontana/Universal to release “Sweet Like Candy” which immediately garnered success. The single peaked at number 7 on Billboard’s Hot Top 100 and rose to number 3 on Billboards R&B/Hip Hop single chart. Menice received over 10 million plays of his music on MySpace and continued to grow his already large fan base through social networking outlets, touring, and promotion.
The album “You’re Welcome” is poised to be Menice’s greatest victory to date. With touring, radio and television appearances being set up already to support the new release Menice is looking forward to the launch date set for late 2011. “I’ve worked so hard to bring my fans a record that not only reps the streets, but also gives the clubs and ladies something to dance to and I feel like I am giving Hip Hop a fresh new breath that will stabilize and balance urban music again”, says Menice.
