Free Microchipping and Rabies Vaccinations for Cats and Dog

Online PR News – 05-October-2011 – – This Saturday, cat and dog owners are invited to bring their pets to the Kmart Plaza in Winter Park for free rabies vaccinations and microchipping. It’s all part of the second annual “Family & Pets Safety Event.”

“Proper healthcare and identification is important to your pet’s safety,” says Judy Charuhas, co-founder of WinterParkLostPets.com. WinterParkLostPets.com is sponsoring the pet safety portion of the event. Vaccinations are provided by Cheap Shots (www.CheapShots.com) and microchipping is courtesy of Orange County Animal Services (www.OCnetpets.com).

In addition there will be free pet safety demonstrations, information, and giveaways from a variety of pet related businesses, veterinarians, and service organizations including Animal Companion Pet Sitting, Animal Healing Solutions, Camp Bow Wow, Hip Dog Canine Hydrotherapy, Paws Calls, Pookie’s Bow Wow Bakery, Spay-n-Save, and VCA Animal Hospitals.

“This family event is held annually. This is the first year that pet safety is included. We are delighted Kmart chose us to sponsor the pet activities,” said Shelley Heistand, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker who along with Ms Charuhas co-founded WinterParkLostPets.com.

The annual Family & Pets Safety Event is one day only, October 8, 2011, from 10 am – 3 pm, at the Kmart Plaza in Winter Park, Florida.
