Beatles Artist Shannon To Hold Painting Demo Prior to Performance by RAIN at NJPAC

Shannon-The World’s Greatest Beatles Artist will be making an appearance by giving a painting demonstration prior to performances and during the intermissions of Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles at New Jersey Performing Arts Center from June 12-14.

Online PR News – 29-May-2009 – – World famous artist Shannon will appear for a demonstration of the painting technique she has used to gain her the title, ‘World’s Greatest Beatles Artist’. Fans will be able to watch and ask Shannon questions prior to all four performances and during the intermissions of Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles from June 12th -14th. Doors will open 1 hour prior to curtain for ticket holders.

Shannon will also have a collection of her artwork, including eight replicas of the paintings that adorn the outside of the Beatles-themed Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool, UK, which will be debuted for the first time in the U.S. at an Invitation-only Reception at the NJPAC on Thursday, June 11th. The paintings will be available for viewing in the Prudential Hall lobby for those attending the performances of Rain. Prints of Shannon’s artwork will be available for purchase.

In 2005, Shannon was commissioned to paint 110 paintings in 2 years for the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool, UK. But Shannon’s artwork is not limited to the Beatles. It includes celebrities such as Sylvester Stallone, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and Lucille Ball, just to name a few. Along with her paintings, Shannon has designed movie posters, postage stamps and custom motorcycles.
