The band will perform during IndyRadio’s artist showcase on October 21, 2011 at the CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival in New York City. The festival runs from October 18-October 22.
New Jersey-based rock band, Amber Blues, was formed in 2003. They draw inspiration from artists such as Billy Joel, Queen, The Beatles, Muse and the Killers to create original music of the New Classic Rock genre. Their music speaks from the heart and easily captures audience attention through relatable lyrical themes and emotionally driven song-crafting. Their highly energetic live performances are hailed as fully entertaining and interactive.
Amber Blues was recently featured in the Winter 2011 edition of nationally distributed music publication, Relix Magazine. The song "Poetry for the State," from their most recent album release, “Your Next Obsession,” appeared alongside tracks from notable artists, such as Gregg Allman and Keller Williams on the Relix CD Sampler.
The "Your Next Obsession" tour kicked off with a double feature CD release event in Asbury Park, NJ and is scheduled to continue until the end of 2011. Currently, the "Your Next Obsession Tour" contains over 50 confirmed headlining live performance and media appearances that span five states.

In June 2011, Amber Blues completed recording 12 new songs with Israeli engineer/producer, Kobi Swissa, who has worked with award-winning artists, including Coldplay and The Fray. New music releases from the band can be anticipated this Fall season, 2011.
