Team members at High Position SEO beat their previous record for snowman-building and had their work immortalised on the Heart Radio website.
Online PR News – 11-January-2010 – – Although the recent cold snap has brought much of the country to a halt, much of the staff at High Position SEO braved the weather and made the journey into the office, but it’s not been all work and no play. Team members spent much of their lunch break on Thursday building a snowman which was mentioned on the Heart Radio Website.
Chris Ainsworth, Liam Shepherd, Tom Jepson, Tom Pretty, Craig Hindmarsh and Peter Gore attempted to break their record from the previous year on the size of their snowman in Castle Park Colchester. Clocking in at around seven feet tall, ‘Dave’ the snowman was built in under an hour and was certainly an impressive effort by the High Position SEO boys.
A picture of ‘Dave’ and the boys was posted on the Heart radio station website with the caption “The lads from High Position & their snowman in Castle Park... made in under an hour - good work boys!” and was even mentioned on Twitter by the official Ask Jeeves account which said “Absolutely love him! Nice work folks, he almost looks like me.”
Liam Shepherd had this to say: “Building a snowman is a tradition here at High Position that we have followed for the past 3 years. It has merit as a great team building exercise. As the company grows bigger, so does our snowman!”
Even though the snow caused problems with much of the country’s infrastructure, the team from High Position SEO proved that weather is no deterrent to their work – or the fun that comes with it.
