Building Blocks, in collaboration with The Shri Ram School, is organizing a Robotics Event in North India.
Online PR News – 19-September-2011 – – The Shri Ram School Gurgaon, will host the biggest remote-controlled robotics competition at 14th Oct 2011. This is the third time that robot constructors from all over North India will met to compete for the trophies. At this year's IRC, around 400 participants, with their self-made, remote controlled robots, will design robots form obstacles races to pattern matching. More than 50 robots from 5 North Indian states will compete against each other. The event is being conducted at the prestigious The Shri Ram School, Moulsari Avenue for the Senior Level and the Junior Level. At the IRC, creativity and originality are the name of the game. The Robo-Quiz and Robo-Design events are also added this year to challenge the robotics minds from India.
IRC takes place in Gurgaon every year and, as one of India's largest remote-controlled robotics competitions, it has become a regular feature with the North Indian schools in the recent years. Each year, both middle school and senior school robot developers aged between 6 and 14 use this opportunity to demonstrate their self-constructed robots. As robots are increasingly penetrating new areas of our lives and robotics has since become a future economic factor, the event should serve to network young talent in this area.
