Fisher Investments Kicks Off Campus Recruiting Season

Investment firm plans to visit several college campuses before year end

Online PR News – 04-September-2011 – – Fisher Investments is preparing for the upcoming campus recruiting season by planning visits to nearly a dozen West Coast schools, ranging from the Pacific Northwest down through Southern California. The first fall visits will begin on September 13 and will last through December 2, before resuming again after the holidays. In each case, Fisher Investments employees will be visiting campuses to meet candidates in person and conduct first round interviews for a variety of entry level positions.

Fisher Investments prides itself on its open work environment, which encourages employees to work collaboratively and learn from each other. The company’s culture derives from its origins as a small boutique investment firm, and the organization has grown tremendously because of a sustained focus on creating an environment where exceptional people can develop successful and lasting careers in financial services. Moreover, employees are entrusted with a high level of responsibility, given the necessary resources for success, and recognized and rewarded for those successes.

“Campus recruiting has always been an important part of our hiring efforts at Fisher Investments. Many of our senior managers, myself included, were hired directly out of college and have been exposed to diverse opportunities unavailable at many another firms,” says Fisher Investments’ Group Vice President of Human Capital Jill Hitchcock.

The University of California, Berkeley is the first school Fisher Investments will be visiting. They are scheduled to attend the Fall Semester 2011 career fair on September 13, 2011 and will be presenting an Information Session on Fisher Investments the following week on September 20, 2011.
