The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) celebrates 15 years of membership to Occamâ€™s Reciprocate program. The charity joined Reciprocate as one of the original members with the objective of increasing donor acquisitions and maximising the return from its direct mailing campaigns.
Online PR News – 26-May-2009 – – Occamâ€™s unique cooperative solution allows the WCRF to swap its own donor data with other Reciprocate members, enabling the charity to supplement its existing database of 3.5 million records with new, high potential, warm prospects. The fair and equitable exchange of donor data between complementary charities means the WCRF is able to target known donors with the greatest affinity to its own supporter base, giving the best possible response and donation levels.
Occam is also responsible for reawakening lapsed supporter relationships. By comparing the lapsed donor records on WCRFâ€™s database with the live Reciprocate database, the charity is able to identify lapsed supporters who are currently actively supporting other charities. This insight allows the WCRF to prioritise reactivation campaigns, targeting people who are still actively involved in charitable giving and who have previously supported its cause.
