Alfa Travel - famous for bringing the very best of the British seaside and the most popular tourist resorts together in value for money holidays and short breaks - are proud to announce the launch of the new set of Autumn 2011 – Spring 2012 holiday brochures.

Online PR News – 28-July-2011 – – Alfa includes return coach travel from convenient local coach pick up points, quality hotel accommodation (19 of which are under their own Leisureplex banner) with evening entertainment and a range of exciting excursions on each break. Most holidays are on a half board basis and boast full British breakfast and sumptuous four course evening meals as standard. Most of the autumn and spring holidays in their own hotels also include lunches on free days in resort.

The past year has been a busy time for Alfa with extensive refurbishment of their three newest hotels: the George IV in Criccieth, Seabank in Porthcawl and Royal Norfolk in Bognor Regis. Not only have they modernised many bedrooms but they have also built many new rooms at both Porthcawl and Bognor. And they have not neglected those “behind the scenes” things which you may not see but can have a significant impact on your holiday. Both Porthcawl and Bognor have had new hot water systems, Porthcawl has had a new kitchen and Bognor has had a brand new lift. Despite the extensive and highly skilled restoration work on the stone façade and stained glass windows at the George IV, their clients voted it Hotel of the Year for the second year running in 2010 – a remarkable achievement for the team at Criccieth. Meanwhile they have continued their policy of refurbishing 10% of the bedrooms in the rest of their hotel estate to ensure continued delivery of the consistent quality for which their hotels are well known.

Nor have they neglected their coach fleet. This year they have committed to a long term plan to switch the majority of their coach fleet to Mercedes Benz and have taken delivery of the first five of those vehicles. Feedback from clients has been highly positive with favourable comments about how light, airy and quiet the vehicles are. The facility to move the seats sideways to increase elbow room has also been welcomed for the way it makes the journey that little bit more comfortable.
