Cleardata Invests in Kodak 5600 Document Scanning Technology

UK document scanning firm Cleardata continues its investment in cutting-edge scanning technology with the Kodak 5600.

The company, one of the largest document scanning bureaus in the UK, has purchased the new Kodak 5600, which scans in colour and mono, at a speed of 170 pages per minute. The 5600 is the latest scanning technology from Kodak and is one of their fastest production scanners.

The scanner can batch feed up to 750 sheets at a time varying in size and condition, providing high quality production scanning. This latest Kodak technology can scan at 300dpi in mono and colour at the same speed, with no slow down for colour images, so it can create high quality images whilst enabling sophisticated data capture with even greater accuracy.

Cleardata can scan any size of document from small format receipts or expenses, to large format drawings. The company is continually investing in its scanning bureau, which captures over 24million images per annum. Cleardata is accredited to ISO27001 for Information Security and provides scanning services for the NHS, Local Government and many Blue Chip companies throughout the UK.
