Fabrics: four new fabrics in Resstende collection
12/24/2009

Resstende, specialist in the production of blinds, widens its range of interior fabrics by adding Silverscreen, Natura, Idea Screen and Dream.

Online PR News – 24-December-2009 – – Silverscreen guarantees high protection from solar irradiation and at the same time a high level of transparency: it is a perfect solution to control both light and solar heat. This fabric is coated with a thin aluminium layer and this keeps the summer heat out thanks to its reflection property; while during the winter heat loss is reduced. This leads to considerable energy savings both for heating up and for freshing up the environments by affecting the costs positively. That’s not everything: a more efficient use of air conditioning and heating plants means less CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

Silverscreen is manufactured by Verosol and it is ISO 14001 certified. It has also obtained the Oko.Tex and Greenguard certifications which are useful to get a better energy classification for the buildings (Leed, Green Star and Breeam). Combined with Resstende freehanging roller blinds, horizontal systems with double headbox and Wintermeeting, Silverscreen gives special attention to environmental protection and to design.  This fabric, being metallised on one side, allows for a monocromatic use on the façade while indoor a vast range of colours can be selected.

Beige, sand, grey and light or dark brown: these are the 5 colours of Natura which remind to the shell colours. Resstende technology combined with sea inspiration gives rise to a screen fabric which protects from solar rays and ensures perfect lighting. Natura can be used with vertical roller systems and Wintermeeting.

Then we pass to a more autumn taste with Idea Screen, a new screen fabric, with a good resistance. It reminds to the linen warps thanks to its elegance and lightness effect.
You can choose among the 15 variants, the colours that better suits the interior design of specific environments and combine it with the products designed and manufactured by Resstende.

Finally there is Dream, a blackout fabric which at the same time is soundproof and flame retardant. This fabric was a summer novelty in Resstende catalogue and now it comes in 6 new colours – cream, yellow- earth, brown, apple green, light blue and black – These new colours “dress” with style work and domestic environments. Dream helps reducing interior temperatures thus diminishing air-conditioning costs.

Resstende designs not only blinds for indoor but also blinds for outdoor and technical roller blinds.
