Online PR News – 21-July-2011 – – The "Tracy Anderson" diet is hitting the celebrity scene hard as of late. Stars like Courtney Cox, Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna are some, just to name few. Some critics say the diet is dangerous, and can lead to nutritional deficiencies.
Critics do not seem to like the Tracy Anderson diet. For one, the Tracy Anderson diet is a macrobiotic diet, which is strict to say the least. Many feel dieters just won’t be able to stick with the plan.
Whole grains and vegetables with a few servings of fish now and again are the main components of the Tracy Anderson diet. Critics feel this can lead to nutritional deficiencies in important nutrients such as calcium and vitamin D.
They also feel the Tracy Anderson diet is simply too low in calories, which can lead to extreme weight loss and potentially, anorexia.
The other critics are the personal trainers which feel her exercises are too simplistic. Some of the exercises in the Tracy Anderson diet include pliates and arm circles. Trainers tend believe these exercises will not lend to sculpted arms and legs, and instead, women should be using weights and challenging the muscles more.
