Online PR News – 23-December-2009 – – Castle Windows has made it their mission this year to donate toys to the undeserved communities that have in previous years, come up short at Christmas. The premier New Jersey-based replacement window and door company, Castle Windows, again flexes its philanthropic muscle as it donates toys to the ‘Toys For Tots’ program in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
Chris Cardillo, co-owner of Castle Windows, got involved with the ‘Toys for Tots’ program when he learned last year that his hometown community center in Penn Hills did not have enough toys to give out to children. The Lincoln Park Community Center was particularly close to Cardillo’s heart as it was where the successful businessman attended kindergarten.
Cardillo explains, “We wanted to leave no child without this year. Our goal is to give back to the community by using part of this year’s profits to provide brand new toys for children in need. Nothing feels better than spreading holiday joy and helping kids have a brighter Christmas”.
Under Cardillo’s leadership, Castle Windows purchased toys and dropped them off at the Toys For Tots drop locations in, Mount Laurel, NJ, Harrisburg, PA, Newington CT and Lincoln Park, PA. Cardillo, who is also one of the world’s largest collectors of GIJOE figures, made a special donation to the center by taking items from his own personal collection and donating them to children in need at Lincoln Park.
