Sanderson Ford Salutes Local Military Heroes

The Sanderson Ford and KFUI “My Military Hero” Program concludes this month with a ceremony honoring the heroes. Sanderson Ford will also award one hero with a 2011 Ford Mustang.

Online PR News – 14-July-2011 – – This month, Sanderson Ford and Fox News Radio 550 KFYI conclude the “My Military Hero” program with an awards ceremony honoring the heroes. A drawing will also take place at the ceremony, where Sanderson Ford will award one lucky hero a new 2011 Ford Mustang.

“My Military Hero” is a year-long program that honors active duty military. Beginning on Flag Day 2010, one hero has been chosen each month, and is featured on KFYI Radio,, and on a digital outdoor billboard within the community. The heroes were nominated by friends and loved ones.

The ceremony, which will take place July 15 at the Sanderson Ford showroom in Glendale, Arizona, will celebrate the heroes chosen between August 2010 and July 2011. At the ceremony, the heroes and/or their families will gather, be honored, and each hero will tell his or her own story. KFYI’s Mike Broomhead will also broadcast live from the showroom from 4pm-7pm. The car giveaway will take place around 6pm.
